Case Study: College School Partnerships - page header

College-School Partnerships

Students from low-income families, first-generation college families, and underrepresented minority groups are finding academic success from high schools that are partnering with colleges.

Purdue Polytechnic High School (PPHS), which currently sends 47 kids to Purdue University, is an example of how this strategy benefits students. According to the case study “College-School Partnerships,” just 12 students out of the 23,000 in the Indiana Public School system made it to Purdue before the partnership.

What does it take for a college to form a durable and productive partnership with schools? What lessons can these partnerships teach about building a path for student success? Find out how PPHS and Purdue are tackling these challenges together by downloading The Chronicle of Higher Education’s case study.
