Dan Berrett is a senior editor for The Chronicle of Higher Education. Previously, he reported on teaching and learning for The Chronicle, faculty issues for Inside Higher Ed, and K-12 and higher education for the Pocono Record. His work has also appeared in Newsweek and The New York Times. Before he was a journalist, Berrett worked in the nonprofit sector and co-founded a sketch comedy troupe that appeared on television and performed internationally. He received his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and his master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
