Originally from Los Angeles, Nick has worked for Delaware Online, The Daily Journal in California, MSNBC, The Real Deal, The Sacramento Bee, the technology blog Motherboard, HuffPost, and Environmental Health News.
He has a bachelor’s degree in media studies from Azusa Pacific University and a master’s in journalism from the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.
Nick received the 2018 Online News Association/CNN Diversity Fellowship and has won top awards from the MDDC Press Association. He was also a judge for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ Ñ Awards.
