The Chronicle of Higher Education
Sara Lipka works to develop editorial products in different formats that connect deeply with our audience. She has written extensively about campus conduct and student life; led projects on inequality, alcohol, demographic change, and the transition from college to work; and appeared frequently on radio programs and conference panels.
Before coming to The Chronicle, in 2003, Lipka interned at The Atlantic, went to Chile on a Fulbright grant, and studied Spanish and cultural anthropology at Duke University. In 2009, she left The Chronicle temporarily to live and work on a farm; her dispatches appeared on The Atlantic‘s website. She has also worked as an umpire.
