Sue Lalumia

Sue LaLumia joined The Chronicle in 1983, and has been art director since 1990. Her responsibilities include page planning, design and layout, assigning illustrations and photography, and some web production, as well as coordination with internal business departments.

LaLumia graduated from Bates College in 1983 with a degree in English, minoring in Philosophy. She came to The Chronicle straight out of college. She subsequently earned a Publication Specialist certificate from the George Washington University and attended the University of Baltimore for graphic design.
